What I Wore Today, Sunday Edition (06.29.2014)

On the other hand, what I wore to today’s event is a different story.

Mommy Salie wanted and specifically said wear something purple or something with a touch of purple since she hates the color pink for baby Zoe. So yes, I searched high and low for the perfect purple outfit until I gave up because I couldn’t find one. And then I came up with this outfit for about 5mins of thinking, something I could work with. I have this floral skirt that could make a decent outfit if paired with the right shade of purple. Then this tee pops out of now where, like it’s screaming at me to take it. And so I did. And this is what I wore.

I was contemplating on wearing heels or flats. I decided to go with the flats for the sole reason of being comfortable.

Cruel Summer

If you are from the Philippines, you would know how hot it is here right now since it is summer. And I mean really hot! In a day we get 39 degrees celsius on a regular basis. A humid weather. Makes you want to stay inside an air conditioned room and not come out or if you can stay inside the shower the whole day, that wouldn’t be bad. Only I can’t. So wearing something breezy is one of our alternatives. Like what I wore last Sunday to church. I opted for clothes with cotton material most of the time. And having an “Abaniko” on my hand every single time is also not a bad idea.

New Projects for This Year

Hello! How’s your year starting so far? Good? Mine is already awesome. I hope it stays that way.

So I started 2 new projects this year. First is my 52 Weeks Money Challenge and since I learned a hard lesson last year about money, this could help. It’s all about saving wherein I save a certain amount of money on a weekly basis. I start with 50 pesos and I keep adding 50 pesos weekly. By the time the year ends, I basically have 60 thousand something pesos. It’s a lot!

Second project is 52 Outfits. You know very well how much I love dressing up. So this is perfect. Though I did a lot of 52’s before and I didn’t finish it (I even had a 365 and didn’t have time to finish it either). I will TRY my best to create 52 outfits for you. How this project works? I post one outfit/look every week for the whole year. We have 52 weeks in one year hence the title “52 Outfits”. So wish me luck on this.

New Year's Eve

New Year’s Eve

A simple and chic dress with a touch of red which brings luck on New Year.

These outfits will be posted on Facebook weekly. You can follow my progress on 52 outfits there. Though I will also be updating my blog every now and then. I do hope to finish this. Just wait for the coming weeks for new outfits. Keep on liking.  Ciao beautiful people!

It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

First of all, Merry Christmas everyone!!! I hope you are all having a good time with the Holidays. Me on the other hand, I had to go to work at eleven so yes, when the clock striked 12, I was already sitting pretty at work. But! I was able to have Noche Buena with the family and also went to church before all that massive eating happened. So it’s all good. Now I’m chillin at work with a glass of red wine from my ER family as we work our way through this Holiday.

What I did Yesterday

Wednesdays and Restdays. I find it hard to stay at home and do nothing on restdays but there are times when I am too lazy to get off the bed. I make my day productive as possible. Though I wasn’t able to hit the gym today because I needed to sleep first. You can’t possibly lift even a 2 pound dumbell if your too exhausted from work. That will be tomorrow’s activity.

I was scheduled to meet the mommies and we would secretly bond over margaritas or coffee. Anything goes. But change of plans happened, which is also quite good. We ended up eating dinner at Chic Boy’s. And then Mom showed up with the Padre. Went to the mall and did a little shopping. I found the perfect tattered jeans by the way. And now I am lying in bed and blogging through my smart phone. But before all of that took place, my only plan for today was to get yet another haircut. Yup, that is right people. A haircut. Again. Yes. Another masterpiece by my hair stylist. I finally mimicked Coco Rocha’s sexy short hair. And I don’t care. I love it!

Short hair, don’t care!

Have a nice day! Ciao.

Oh hello there beautiful people! I was some how inspired to write a little something something. This will be short and quick. An outfit post for you. I will TRY to post more outfit entries as much as possible.

Despite the fact that I was harrased when entering this certain establishment because of this outfit. It is still an aboslute favorite. Apparently they have dress codes that they follow. And another apparently, my outfit does not fit in to this certain dress code. Seriously? I’m not even a student in that school anymore. But anyways, I managed to enter. A little charm is what it took and a whole lot of pagtataray. It took me less than 5 mins inside the premises so puhlease, students there didn’t even saw me come and go.

This outfit screams carefree on a rainyday. Ciao!

Let’s be BOLD

It’s raining. Hard. I’m home nothing left to do so hello outfit post.

I’ve stumbled upon some pictures of about 5 months old while spring cleaning the contents of my laptop.

I’m not the skirty skirt type of person. I prefer to wear shorts comfortably. I only wear skirts on special occasions or when it is actually required. I don’t know why but I am not comfortable with skirts. But this one is an exception. I like bandage skirts. it’s tight and it makes your ass look good. The sole reason why I would wear such thing.

The top is a different story. I like lacey tops. Cropped top. I like the fact that you could actually see what’s inside. Kinda sexy for me.

I really wish people here could be BOLDER when dressing up. Or spare the dagger look on the braves one who could actually wear something bold. SOCIETY.

I dare you to be BOLD beautiful ones. Ciao!
